Why adopt instead of just donating?
Donating to a city parks department means your money goes into a general pool β usually mowing, rarely the dog-specific stuff. Adopt-a-Park is direct. You pick the park, you see the bench you paid for, your name is on the page that thousands of dog owners read every month. It's the opposite of anonymous philanthropy.
FAQ
Can I adopt the same park as someone else?
Yes β popular parks have multiple Guardians. Your name is added to the list; if you'd prefer an exclusive sponsorship, ask about local-business pricing.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from any quarterly email link or send us a note. No lock-ins.
Is this tax-deductible?
Not yet β we're a small for-profit. We're applying for 501(c)(3) status as a sister non-profit; once active, contributions to that entity will be deductible.
What if my park gets neglected by the city?
We escalate maintenance requests with the parks department on your behalf and publish the correspondence in our quarterly report. Sponsored parks have observed faster fix turnarounds.
