Why this exists

Most dog park directories tell you a name and an address. They don't answer the questions you actually have when you're standing in your driveway with a tennis ball: Is it shaded? Is the fence secure? Will my Frenchie melt in the sun? Are there other small dogs there at this time?

We solve that. Every park here is tagged with the amenities that matter — shade, water fountains, fencing, off-leash areas, indoor facilities, small-dog zones, dog waste bag dispensers, parking, restrooms — pulled from real visitor reviews and curated so you don't have to dig through Google Maps yourself.

Where the data comes from

We start with Google Maps' "dog park" category as our baseline list. Then we filter out the noise (Walmart parking lots, pet stores, listings without addresses) and enrich each park's profile by analyzing its visitor reviews — extracting which amenities are actually present versus advertised.
